Police Commissioner Jim Gordon won't be the only Batman ally to show up in Zack Snyder's Justice League - Part One next year. Actor Jeremy Irons has informed Showbiz411 that he'll also be joining the cast of the DC superhero team-up.
Irons will be back as Bruce Wayne's faithful butler Alfred Pennyworth, whom audiences first met late last month in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice.
The site also mentions that Irons will also be back for Ben Affleck's recently announced solo Batman movie, which he is currently working on with DC Entertainment CCO Geoff Johns.
This is great news! Jeremy Irons was made to play the role of Alfred and his chemistry with Affleck's Dark Knight was easily one of the most enjoyable aspects of Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice.
How could more of that darkly humorous banter be a bad thing?
Justice League - Part One is shooting now. Zack Snyder is directing and the DC flick stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, J.K. Simmons and Jeremy Irons, the film arrives in theatres on November 17, 2017.
