No Fantastic Four Plans From Marvel Studios

Fans have been hoping Marvel Studios would icky up the rights to Fantastic Four, especially since the much troubled reboot hit the bug screen back in 2015. If that wasn't a possibility, some have also suggested that the studio could come to sort of deal with 20th Century Fox over the property - just like they did with Sony to bring Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, it doesn't look like either of these things will be happening soon.

Speaking with AlloCine, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige revealed that they have no plans to bring the First Family of Marvel into the MCU at this point in time.

"[We have] no plans with the Fantastic Four right now," he said. "No discussions about it."

Previously, Feige had also stated that it'd be difficult for Marvel Studios to work with 20th Century Fox on anything within the Fantastic Four and X-Men universes.

Interestingly, Fox had slated a sequel to the 2015 film for release on June 9th, 2017 - which was officially last Friday for those keeping track. However, the studio eventually decided against it.
